The long-awaited seventh season of Rick and Morty finally premiered on October 15, 2023, and with it comes a few changes to the cast. Following the departure of co-creator Justin Roiland, who previously voiced both Rick and Morty, two new actors have stepped in to take over the roles: Chris Parnell and Spencer Grammer, respectively.
Here is a list of the 10 main cast members of Rick and Morty season 7, along with the characters they voice:
- Chris Parnell as Rick Sanchez: Rick is a brilliant but cynical scientist who frequently takes his grandson Morty on intergalactic adventures.

- Dan Harmon as Birdperson: Birdperson is a highly intelligent alien with the appearance of a giant blue jay. He is Rick’s best friend and confidante.
- Tom Kenny as Squanchy: Squanchy is a cat-like alien who is Rick’s other best friend and confidante.
- Kari Wahlgren as Jessica: Jessica is Morty’s crush and a popular girl at school. She is often unimpressed with Morty’s awkwardness but is occasionally drawn to his kindness.
- Maurice LaMarche as Mr. Poopybutthole: Mr. Poopybutthole is a mysterious man who appears to be a close friend of the Smith family. However, his true origins and motivations are unknown.
- David Pasquesi as Mr. Goldenfold: Mr. Goldenfold is Morty’s math teacher at school. He is a strict and demanding teacher who seems to have a personal vendetta against Morty.
- Ryan Ridley as Dr. Wong: Dr. Wong is a therapist who treats Morty and the rest of the Smith family. He is a patient and understanding man who often tries to help the Smith family deal with their dysfunctional relationships.
In addition to the main cast, Rick and Morty season 7 also features a number of recurring and guest characters. Some of the most notable recurring characters include:
- Gary the Space Dragon: Gary is a space dragon who is Rick’s former lover. She is often jealous of Morty and the other members of the Smith family.
- Unity: Unity is a hivemind that Rick is in a relationship with. She is intelligent and compassionate, but she can also be manipulative and controlling.
- Krombopulos Michael: Krombopulos Michael is an intergalactic assassin who Rick often hires to do his dirty work. He is a cold-blooded killer, but he is also surprisingly charming.
- Evil Morty: Evil Morty is a version of Morty who is evil and intelligent. He is a major antagonist in the series and is determined to destroy Rick.
These are just a few of the many characters that appear in Rick and Morty season 7. With its new cast members and exciting new episodes, season 7 is sure to be another hit with fans of the show.
